Your Shippensburg University ID Card holds a lot more to it than just your name, student ID #, and your wonderful picture! This card is your solution to saving more money than you were before (if you listened to our advice on those previous savings that is)! Several downtown restaurants, such as Redemption BBQ, Rice+Pho, and the University Grille, offer 10-15% off on certain days of the week or all week long!
Raider Bucks are the equivalent to adding money onto your Ship ID Card. To do so, log on to ship.edu, proceed by clicking “Life at Ship”, and then locate the Raider Bucks logo and click to continue. Once you are this far, proceed by clicking “Fund Your Account,” and add money; then you are set with money loaded onto your Ship ID!
I had no idea before writing this post about all this information, as I am a commuter. Starting college during COVID-19 and not being on campus much definitely has an effect on how much I know and the amount of information I have been told. Due to not being on campus, I also have not been able to figure these things out on my own, or go to anyone and ask. HOWEVER, that being said, this week I am definitely going to load up my card and hit a few downtown locations to not only help my pockets with a little discount, but to help the downtown community flourish economically and physically, especially the smaller businesses!
