What will I be listening to this week? Well, my music taste rotates throughout finals week. I have three go-to genres—tropical instrumentals, lo-fi, and dance music. For studying and being productive, I pop on lo-fi music to flow along with. It also might help some to fall asleep if stress keeps you up. Speaking of stress, I like my tropical playlists for when I start feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Lo-fi works too, but tropical music is more upbeat and has that feel-good rhythm. I just let my mind drift away to another part of the world. Lastly, I highly recommend taking study breaks. Sometimes I get stuck in the unhealthy routine of just sitting down and trying to get all the work done in one sitting. Recently, I’ve been taking daily walks back my road in between classes. I like listening to my Dance Partayyy playlist and boy does it give me that boost of serotonin. It can also be used as a workout playlist. If you want to take a trip back to our middle school days and the golden era of EDM/new wave, take a listen. Even take a dance break if that’s your thing. Anyways, good luck with finals this week! Drink lots of water, take breaks, take care of yourselves! Playlists below.
