Howdy y'all, my name is Shianne and I am a co-chair for the Honors Commuter committee. I am a sophomore middle-level education major that is dual certifying in math and social studies. I also have a minor in psychology. The most important things to know about me is that I am a huge animal enthusiast, I love being in the outdoors, and I am a truly devoted Netflix binger (I'm currently watching Vampire Diaries). I am a fellow commuter that lives in Greencastle, PA with my family because I have no money. There are many perks of still living at home, such as getting to see my two lovely doggies, Cookie and Hazel, every day when I come home from school and having free food to come home to. I am also the oldest of four, so I guess it's okay seeing my siblings on a everyday basis too. Hello everyone, my name is Matthew and I'm a new member of the Honors Commuter Committee. This year I'm a freshman in Applied Physics, which is a 3+2 (with the 2 being a yet undetermined engineering degree). I commute from Fayetteville, so I drive 30-40 minutes when I have in-person classes. Getting up 40 minutes early is unfortunate, but I have podcasts to keep me company during the drive, and being at home has plenty of benefits as well. Aside from being a commuter, I have plenty of interests. Those include cooking, eating, hiking, video games, electronic devices, and biotechnology (neurotech is actually my favorite career path). While these interests might seem unrelated, one thing unites them: exploration .
